Celebrating the release of: “Honky-Tonkers & Western Swingers” Stories of Country Music in Wichita, Kansas by Orin Friesen

The presentation will be followed by an hour of live music with cameo appearances by several of the performers featured in the book. Please contact the Museum for advanced reservations. The book will be available for sale in the Museum’s Gift Shop located near the Admissions Desk on the 1st floor.

Regular admission to the Museum is charged: $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for children, Museum Members and their guests are admitted free.

Orin Friesen is a well-known radio personality, musician, author and historian, perhaps best known for his career at KFDI radio. His 2013 book “Goat Glands to Ranch Hands – the KFDI Story” now out of print, is a singularly important account of our local history.
