Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum offers their Senior Wednesdays on the 4th Wednesday of each month, January-October.

MAY TOPIC: “Let’s Talk Shop” Documentary Screening with WeHarmonSisters

Presented by Sara and Charity Harmon

Sisters and award-winning filmmakers, Sara and Charity Harmon, tell the history of Wichita‘s two biggest department stores: Innes and Henry’s. Though these stores no longer exist, the former buildings are being repurposed for higher education.

About the Presenters
Sara and Charity Harmon, known as “WeHarmonSisters,” are award-winning filmmakers based in Wichita. Their films include For Your Amusement, Who Scammed Rajah Rabbit?, and their latest, Let’s Talk Shop. They began their media journey as teenagers, then chose it as a career and graduated with degrees in Communication. The sisters create fun, artsy, and humorous content that both educates and entertains their audience.

On the second floor you’ll find: The DeVore Auditorium containing the Victorian Silver Plate exhibit, the Vintage Drugstore, A Child’s World exhibit, and numerous special exhibits.
